I prefer the complete drop, but anything is better than the factory gap. |
It was easy and cheap.

I want to level out my 07 also, but I have one question. The Colbalt SS springs have two different numbers for the rear springs, 05 to 07 and 08 to 09. What part number did you use?
|
I bought them off Ebay....They came off an 05.

I cant tell the difference. Maybe its me??

It's hard to tell because the shots aren't straight on and are at varying heights, but you can still see the difference between the rear tire and the body at the top, the gap is closed up enough.
Would doing this void any part of your warranty? Pros and cons of putting cobalt springs in? I know a lot of others have done it, but figured I would ask. |
I don't know about warranty issues...? I bought mine used so I would just say must have been the previous owner.
These springs had about 5000 miles on them so they should be settled in....It was at the dealer this weekend for an oil change and the tech didn't say anything about the springs falling out like some have mentioned that have used after market kits. The pictures don't do it justice....It sits level with no one in it or two in the front...I haven't noticed how it rides with 4 passengers yet....Might not be a pretty....LOL |
