Agreed, The tire date code looks to be from May, 2016.
I like these Cobalt rims & the HHR SS rims as well.

Well today was 48 degrees at 7 am, so I went out and swapped to the 11.6 inch SS rotors and caliper brackets, and seeing as it was such a nice day, over 50 degrees, I mounted up the Cobalt SS gun metal 18” rims, and ensured the TPMS connected to the car

Still a little high in the rear, but the wheels look very good

The SS rotors look small in the 18” wheels and still a little to high in altitude

The black brackets and calipers blend in nicely

I’m waiting awhile, to bust out the Canuck Motorsports lowering springs in the basement.

Nice change, it's a Good look, & the black lug nuts match your brake components. Curious to hear how the change feels on the roads too.
Never been a fan of the gold tone on center caps, I polished it off mine. But that's what I like.

Agree on a lil altitude adjustment, when you get to it.

I just got in after a test drive out for a coffee and donut, 40 miles away, nice ride , no pull to either side , I set the tires at 32 psi . I do miss the rear TTR swaybar, I picked up new bolts and lock nuts, then I’ll see if there is improvement or not!
My winter tires in the 17” chrome over plastic over aluminium 2LT rims two had 1 screw each and the one had 2 drywall screws and the last one didn’t have any screws in the tread.
Good thing , I’m putting a set of Blizak winter tires on for next winter. The thread is minimal on 2 and the other 2 are done the wearbars are showing level with the tread.

Today , while changing the left rear back to the 18” rim, I thought , hmmm , just 2 shock bolts and 2 brake line bracket nuts , then I can swap out the OEM FE3 springs and install the Canuck Motorsports lowering springs, and while I was doing that, I reinstalled the TTR rear sway bar, I used M12 1.75 35 mm bolts, nyloc nuts and 3mm thick flat washers. I torqued them all to 65 ft lbs and put the tires and rims back in, now it sits nice and level.
I decided not to measure the old or the new , I’m way to OCD and would be stewing with the numbers dancing in my head, after all it is a matter of cool and getting the stink beetle look under control.

Stink beetle high in the rear

Note the larger gap between the rear tire and fender lip

Notice the level stance, the more equal gaps between the tires and fenders both front and rear. I know , it’s dirty, there is road construction and I have to wash it .
