We are new here, have owned our 08 HHR SS since july 08. We recently just learned about this site and are happy to join. we are located in Alberta, Canada. We love our car and what a story on how we got it. We were originally looking for a base model wanted black and a manual transmission. our salesman looked and could not find one we wanted or if he did other dealers would not work with him, except one and it was a SS model, and a auto, so after some thought we went with the SS and took the auto, that is the only thing about our car we would change, aside from that we LOVE it. Looking forward to meeting everyone here.

Although you got "stuck" with the auto, I think you will be more than happy with the SS :smile:
When you get ready for more power, there is a GM stage kit that will up your HP considerably :D

Congrats on the SS. Check out the forums for the GM Stage 1 kit for the HHR SS. You might be interested!!:thumb:

HHR SS auto is not "stuck" if you have the kit. 290 hp is 290 hp.
