Hi all!
The fact I stumbled into this forum simply melted my heart and moistened my eyeballs because I found exactly what I was looking for: HHR car stereo removal instructions and info on LOCs or similar doo-dads!
I wanted to keep my stock H/U as it handles MP3 files perfectly and in my opinion, almost any 3rd party H/U would detract from the interior looks.
The plan is to add a PacAudio AOEM-gm1416A 2006 GM Add amp kit (mentioned in one of the forums) to the back of the H/U. It will give me my AUX jacks out of the stock H/U so I can run RCA cables to my Amp & subs in the trunk. SWEET!
Looking forward to reading more 'how to's' and hopefully contributing too.
