Howdy from Oregon

Hey folks…retirement is approaching at the end of December for me and I’ll be losing my company-furnished ride. I needed a rig that can haul a bunch of music gear and I really did not want a mini van or SUV. Here’s what I picked up recently to be my “retirement rig”: 2010 LT that has been well taken care of and everything works great. A little over 100K on the odometer…I’m really happy with it and was thrilled to find this forum! Looking forward to hanging out here and learning more about these cool cars 😊

A nice example of a 2LT , does it have the leather seats? Welcome to the site! Good choice for retirement!

Yep…leather seats in great condition!

Will never use it as a TOAD myself, but somebody before me certainly did 🙂

Did your purchase include a service history?

I agree! The wheels are a dead giveaway. Those are chrome metalized plastic covers glued to 17" alloy rims. Very corrosion resistant! Do NOT apply chrome cleaner! It'll ruin the clearcoat. Maintain them like paint.

2LT's are not terribly common, perhaps because all the goodies it came with made that trim level pricey. The noticeably more powerful 2.4 liter engine was part of the deal, as well as an upgraded suspension, the fog lights, and all that chrome. Did you notice a button for the heated seats? You wouldn't be the 1st to miss than.

I’m thinking leather seats would be the giveaway to the heated seats option and remote start! My 2LT doesn’t have either option because Mr. Penske doesn’t order those for his rental fleet!

Oldblue: Yes, I got the service history from both previous owners upon purchase. It may have remote start, but it only came with two keys…one by itself and one on a aftermarket fob that only has 3 buttons…lock, unlock and the red one.

PulpFriction: Thanks for the info on the wheel covers…I gather they don’t come off separately? I didn’t notice the heated seats initially, but my wife found them right away 😀
