I’m Back!
 

After several years without an HHR I finally purchased another one about a month ago. This time I got a 2007 LS Panel. 124,000 miles. I just love the Retro Panel Truck look. I have wanted to get one for several years.
looking forward to customizing it to my tastes. Already put a new grille in, a 56 chevy emblem in the grille, chrome mirror and door handle covers and a couple Chevrolet script decals on the rear quarters.. Replaced the SwayBar links.

Yeah the previous owner had it two toned. Right now Wheels are not on my list, I’m retired and don’t have a lot of spare money. It needs tires and a few other things before then.. trying to do a few cheap and easy mods first before going after the more expensive stuff.

The 1955/56 Chevy grille emblem is a touch of class..

They can easily be found on ebay, must use caution working wit one, they are all plastic. ebay also for the 55/56 emblem & Chevrolet script.

The emblem is a 56 chevy hood emblem for a V8 car. The 6 cylinder emblem is larger.

Thank You for the definitive answer, I knew it was right around there.

Just had to replace the left front Wheel bearing, it was growling very loud and getting worse every day. I just ordered a pair of front struts from Rock Auto. They are Gabriels with a lifetime warranty. Probably do the rear shocks next.
