n00b. (do people still say that?)

Greetings all. Upgraded from my 1981. Chevette Scooter to very spiffy 09 SS HHR about 3mo ago. Figured it was time to get active on this forum and see what kinda trouble this little car can get me into. FYI I am the 5th owner of this car so maybe the previous owners are/were here too.

Welcome to the site. :thumb:

Wow. Fifth owner. That may be some kind of record for a SS.

:welcome8: to the forum!

Yeah we still say "noob" here, along with the occasional "gee whilikers", and "dag nabit".;)

You kept a Chevette going for 33 years in a state where they spread "Fender Solvent" on the roads every winter, how!?!

Having driven a Chevette Diesel "courtesy car" back in the 80's, I can only imagine that your HHR feels like a rocket sled.

Bought the Chevette 5yrs ago from the original owner who only drove the car to church on Sundays and it was garage kept. So its damn near pristine. My dad now has it and is doing an LS swap on it. The HHR is def a rocket sled, HP tuned and runs 14.2 in the 1/4mi.
