New to the HHR World … the White Swan

Wife fell in love with the styling. Picked up this 2011, LT, 2.4L, 74k miles, loaded. It is very clean in and under. Currently at the Z-Bart shop.

Full Z-Bart completed. Think I have all of the little broken stuff cleared up.
Now working with a friend that has home 3D print capability. Working to get a working cup holder for the 2011 that will go into the OEM location. Will let you know if and when we are successful.
Replaced the cabin airfilter yesterday. 74k mile and not sure it had ever been done. Our was a Florida car really owned by a little old lady. Is this normal accumulation??

What is the normal replacement frequency?

Most people are totally unaware that there is a cabin air filter. So, average change frequency is something like once every 15 years. Amazing how few have ever looked in an Owner Manual.

That’s normal, I installed a K&N washable cabin air filter. I wash it every 6 months

I simply threw away my cabin filter; it was constantly getting wet, causing the windows to fog up. Furthermore, a musty smell was sometimes noticeable in the cabin.
After the cabin filter was gone, I didn't feel any discomfort. But I didn't notice any noticeable improvement either.
I think the existence of a cabin filter isn't a crucial factor.
