New member, new car...
Just signed up last night after purchasing a 2010 HHR yesterday. Traded in my short bed 4x4 Dodge truck. Hope I did not make a mistake. Have to go to the local Menards in a few days and pick up a new 32" per-hung door. Hope it will fit in vehicle! Momma did not want me to trade but I was tired of pumping expensive gas into the gas hog truck. Bought the HHR because I believe I can still haul most items I will need and still have double the gas Milage of the truck.

Welcome to the forum. I traded a 4X4 silverado for my HHR. Love my car and the gas mileage. It will never replace a truck for it's hauling ability but you would be surprised how much you can fit in the back or on top. Good luck!

:welcome4: Welcome to the forum. Ihave a 2010 and you will be amazed at what you can carry. If you fold down the passenger seat and the rear searts you can get 8 foot lumber in and close the hatch. A 32" door should fit OK but it will hang out some. I was able to fit 2 kitchen floor cabinets in the back and shut the hatch. |
