New owner of 2009 HHR LS

My first post here.
Just bought a 2009 HHR LS with 24K miles. Hoping it will be a reliable and practical vehicle for our new drivers in the family ( and I like the look ).

One of the two key fobs doesn't work, I figured it needed a new battery, but perhaps it needs the solder fix. I'll find out when I open it up.

I had to take mine apart for them not working, but not giving me a message in my DIC for low fob battery.. The rubber buttons rub off on the contacts and may need to be cleaned off.. I did that and cleaned off the battery in case there was any thing on it, and haven't had a problem since.
