New Proud Owner of Blue 2010 HHR

Hi everyone. I would like to say that I am a new premium member and hope to learn alot about my HHR.
I have to say it's cool and in great shape. I bought it from a friend of mine who was the sole owner and never had any major problems with it. The only things I have to deal with right now is a broken driver dorr handle, which I have on order and will replace myself, and a dead tire pressure sensor in one tire which I am having replaced. She has 127K on her but looks and sounds more like 60K.
Other than that I hope to learn a lot from you all and HELLOOOOOO!

Welcome aboard! Be sure to get some pictures uploaded to the gallery so we can see the new "girl."
I really wanted a blue one too, but the deal I got on "Red" just could not be passed up.

Also, if one TPMS sensor is bad, you may want to go ahead and replace them all, unless you know their age.
They have batteries in them and are only good for a limited time, so if one went the others may follow.

I only paid $20/pair on Amazon for the real deal AC Delco sensors:
ACDelco 23445327

Make sure your tire guys have the tools to reset them.

Congratulations!
Very cool, and you are so lucky! You have don't have to wonder, "Hum, I wonder if..." since your friend was sole owner.
I would have considered it a luxury if I'd of known the history on some of my vehicles. Most never even came with a manual.

Treat her like a lady and never take her for granted.

@ Casa the FL sensor wasn't showing so I brought it to my mechanic of 10 yrs and he re-calibrated them for me, no charge, and the sensors all worked for a day then the LF stopped showing. I'll have to see what's up.

My tps started random errors and I just replace ALL of the sensors in the 4 wheels. Have not had a problem since, makes no sense in just replacing one at a time. As has been said, when one of them start acting odd, then the rest will follow.

Welcome to the site.

Guess I was just lucky with my broken door handle. Took it out, glued it back together, then reinforced it with 2 small metal straps on the back of the handle.
Been holding up and no cost.
