Newbie in Alabama
Hey all,
I've grown up a die-hard Chevy girl, but I'd always envied the Kia Soul. Tried out Kia's with a Rio and it didn't last me 8 months. It was a L-E-M-O-N to the n'th degree. Finally got rid of it and talked the hubby into letting me buy a 2010 Chevy HHR LS model.
Found the car in St. Louis, MO with 58,000 original miles in mint condition so of course I jumped on the opportunity. In 24 hours we rode up (in bus) to the dealership, signed for the car, and drove home. Because I'm crazy like that
Anyways, been lurking a little bit, but thought I'd post a hello from BFE in Alabama. I'd love to meet any others in the area. Looking into tiny mods since it IS my daily commuter (but also the date-night car) and by far is the nicest thing I've ever owned. Definitely been reading up on the MOD forums and MPG forums for help. Almost time for my first oil change and looking for a little help with improved MPG. Thanks all!

It IS a bit of an oxymoron.. my 1985 and 1992 Blazers had been returned to my father when I moved out of state and I wanted a small SUV. At the time, the Soul was the only option with reasonable mileage.
and have fun with that HHR.
