Hey fellas.. My name's Jason, or "Manson", from Southern Maryland. I recently became the owner of a 2011 HHR LT. I was looking for a newer car for a daily driver that was in decent shape and good on gas and happened to stumble across this one - owned by a 75 year old lady, garage kept with only 26K miles on the odometer and clean as could be. So far plans are to just drive it, I want to change the wheels/tires in the near future and will likely remove the emblems and pinstripe. So far I'm pretty happy with it - the old lady and kids all fit in it and I get 28 mpg on average so long as I keep a light right foot. It's the newest car I've ever owned by a longshot so I've had to get used to it.

About me - I'm a 36 year old hot rodder and custom car guy. Grew up around street rods and muscle cars in the 80's and early 90's. I got into minitrucks in my teens and early 20's, I've owned a slew of S-10's, a few 67-72 C-10's and first gen K-5 Blazers, mid 50's Mopars, and currently have a '55 Desoto, '63 Ford Fairlane Ranch Wagon, and a '39 Chevrolet.

I've lurked around the site for a bit reading some of the posts, looks like there's a great group of folks here with a wealth of knowledge on these cars. Hopefully I can contribute something that's useful, and I'm pretty damned sure I'll ask some dumb questions.

Welcome to the asylum Manson! (glad your first name is not Charlie)

If you have been driving that LT for more than a week, (with your background) I guess you better start watching for an SS to replace it.
Unless you have plans to do some crazy swap or something, that is. If so, do tell!
