Prospective HHR SS owner!
All the 2010 SS's are optioned about the same. The only real choices were the color, transmission choice and the Brembo/LSD package for the 5 speed.
All had sunroof, black interior only with both front performance seats and premium sound.
Roof rails were not available in 2010.
The 09's had better choices as far as optional stuff.

Good luck with your search :) keep us advised as to when you get one. Take pictures we love pictures!

no codes thrown for suspension issues, thanks for clarifying Firemangeorge, like i said someone would correct me!
you can replace the LCA bushings but you would have to take them out to do it so its a toss up. If you have the press available and can press out the old bushings for poly then yea go for it! Modern Performance carries replacement poly bushings.
another tuning method i failed to mention is the cortex tuners, gives close performance numbers to the GM tune

Thank you again for all of the quick help! Thanks to you all, I was able to find and bring home a 2010 MT Imperial Blue SS, with 47k, sunroof, the Performance Package, and a surprise GM Stage 1 (need to confirm this, but it boosts 17psi).
It has 1/2 a month of warantee left, so I have an appointment to drop it off at the dealer on Tuesday to work their magic on it, if needed. The only issues I've found with it so far are:
1. On the highway pulls in Mexico that I did, after a few times, all of the interior panels would black out (the screen below the gauges, the performance pod thing, and the radio and center console). These were also done in a tunnel with the lights on "Auto"... so when I turned them on or off, everything came back on again. Really weird, and a bit worrisome... even though I was focused on the road and only noticed afterwards. I will ask the dealer about this.
Homework for me:
2. The center gauge pod that reads "boost", does not show vacuum... is there a way to recalibrate this?
2a. Where can I get a steering column gauge pod so I can T-in a analog pressure gauge?
Pictures as requested:

Congrats on the new to you SS.
RPD will only show boost. No programming available for it to show vacuum.
17lbs of boost. Most likely does not have the GMTU stage 1. Most owners with the GMTU will see more boost than that. Mine will hit 19-20 at sea level with the upgrade.
You could use your RPD gauge and check your HP/Torque numbers. Stock being 260/260, you would see above that if you have the upgrade. Mine has hit in the range of 280/310.
Or, just look at the upper Tmap sensor on the intake manifold. The stock sensor is black with small white parts numbers. The upgrade would have a Bosch sensor with a blue label.

So After further investigation, I do have the blue labelled sensor, and it will spike to 17psi, and a little more power than 260, but it doesn't hold. The sensor has 4 wires coming from it, but one of the wires comes to an end before meeting the rest of the harness. Maybe I am just missing a flash then?
if you have the gm upgrade it may not be installed right, plus there are a couple of versions of the upgrade, some are spliced in and taped, some were soldered in with poor soldering, so if boost is bouncing it may be that or the lower sensor wires hitting the a/c (i think!), common problem. search the site for a thread on how to switch it 180 degrees to remedy that.
