No debate I drove a stick last week, don't have that much time to wait. Go with the auto, drove one today, poops and giggles..

oh if I were looking now I would try to find a rare one.

[QUOTE=badassbowtie;696365]IMO you could have a HHR SS with the same HP/TQ as the stock 04 Mach 1, and it wouldn't cost much....I'm not sure what it will run in the 1/4 mile, but almost any of the SS's with a tune and supporting mods are in the high 13's low 14's

04 mach 1 has a 10.1:1 cobra motor MOD 4.6L DOHC V8 (Aluminum Block) 305 hp 320 tq,355 gears 13.2 with a 5 speed.High 12`s are very easy to get to.Most think there a gt with a shaker hood, there actually closer to a 99-01 cobra with a shaker hood.I dont plan on any go fast mods just some airbrushing. Before the mustang I had a trailblazer SS here`s some airbrushing I did on the engine cover.http://www.flickr.com/photos/49109130@N05/8560582241/ I`ll try to find some more pics tomorrow

The big difference between a Stang and an SS? Everybody owns a stang.......
I bet you could have a 5 year demo derby with all stangs and still have too many on the road to say its a worthy collector piece..
