2010 Camaro Built for the Detroit Autorama

I am one of the leaders of and Explorer Scout Group that meets at the GM Tech Center In Warren, MI. Each year we teach the youg men and women (14 years old to 20 years old) about different trades and jobs in the auto industry by building a car for the Detroit Autorama car show. This year's project was building a 2010 Camaro from used and spare test parts. We teach the kids how to do everything from rebuilding parts, to how to create an award winning paint job. I thought some of the Chevy HHR people would enjoy seeing the completed project. BTW we did the build in less than 5 months meeting once a week until the last 2 weeks, then we worked every day all day.

Sweet build, Bill. Nice to see the young 'uns gettin' into it.:thumb:

That's cool Bill, nice looking ride. Glad to actually see the community return GM provides. Too bad I don't have those kind of *spare* parts laying around to benefit my community (me, myself and I: an exclusive community).

Got any more spare parts laying around? I'm an engineer, how do I get 4 "engineering samples" of those wheels? :D

No, seriously.

BTW, what happens to these teaching cars after the show?
