2010 Camaro: Red SS logo and White SS logo
 

Saw two 2010 Camaro at the dealership today. One has a red SS logo, and the other one has a white SS logo. What's the purpose of having two different SS logo color? :confused:

Are you sure the red logo was SS? The red logos I've seen on Camaros are RS.

Yes. One had a red SS logo, and the other one had a white SS logo. I'm sure of that. The red Camaro with the red logo also had two large black stripes on the hood.

Dealer installed possibly, I know the stripes were dealer installed up until a few weeks ago.

I'm pretty sure any RS package has red emblems. Therefore, red SS emblems means it's SS/RS.

Were they both the same color of car? Black ones will have red emblems

One was white and had white SS logo, the red one had red SS logo. The SS logo should be the same color, regardless of the car's color IMHO. A bizarre (and costly) move by GM. :confused:

The white SS emblem is the SS package only, If it is a Red SS badge it also has the RS package with the car regardles of color of the car. Thus SS/RS. Talking with a dealer right now but might have to wait till my moneys right.

yes, and black SS's don't all have red SS emblems. As stated twice now :D it's an SS/RS if it has red SS's
