This is pretty typical thinking for Americans but with the growing popularity of CUV's people are becoming more accustomed to hatches and are willing to pay premium prices as long as they get higher quality finishes. A non-turbo'd hatch will come in much lower than $25,000. In my opinion hatch>sedan.

That's like comparing apples to oranges but after having owned a rearwheel drive sports car I can say I probably wouldn't ever buy another. At least not as long as I live in Michigan
