The 50 Worst Cars of All Time From Time Magizine

http://www.time.com/time/specials/20...658545,00.html

We did not make the list, but the Chevy SSR did I guess it is a bit useless in its carrying capacity, and not quite a hot rod, but.......

Anyway, glad to see my Corvairs made it . No negative auto list is complete without ragging on the Corvair

On the bright side, I was glad to see the Aztek on it. Never could quite figure that car out

I can't believe the Lambo SUV is on there. I remember seeing one of those for the first time in Nice, France back in 2000. The thing was awesome! I'd trade my kidney for one of those!

They have no clue about cars . No 1988 Jags or Bmw735 series1&2. Ford came out and said there were 76 things wrong with the 88 jag that could not be fixed, they were considered to be characteristics!

I don't understand how the Vega missed this list. My first new car was a 1972 Vega GT wagon four speed. It looked nice, got poor gas milage (22mpg*) and had a top speed of 85 mph if there was a tail wind. The car was built from compressed rust and was not water tight it leaked through the rust holes under the windshield chrome molding. GM did replace the engine once oil consumption got to 350 miles per quart of oil. It had a radiator the size of a postage stamp.

*I traded in a 66 Pontiac Catalina w 389 2bbl that go 18 mpg.

The Vega, the Chevette.... I had good friends that regretfully owned these cars.

And you folks wonder why GM is constantly loosing both market penetration and their cars do not hold value??

Great article! I only owned a few of them. My father a '60 Corvair new and it turned out to be horrible. He didn't buy another new car until '72. I had an '80 Chevette and wished I had the same pushing ability as Fred Flintstone. I used to pray on the down ramps to the interstate that it get up to speed. The speed limit was only 55 mph then!

Finally, they list the '82 Camaro Iron Duke. I made the mistake of ordering a Firebird with that engine and a stick shift. I wanted a great looking car that would get better gas mileage. From what I was told later, the engineers loosened the motor mounts so the car wouldn't shake. Instead, the engine took all the vibration. I replaced every gasket on it within 3 years. Thank goodness I was finally able to find some who would buy it off me!
