Do other drivers bother you ?

I've noticed two things that bother me with some drivers.
Don't use turn signals
Don't pull up to the car in front at a light, stop sign. Even stop and go driving on a highway, expressway, parkway. (leaves like a car or car and a half space).

It bugs me when someone stops at a stoplight and does not leave enough room for someone to make a right-on-red turn.
How about the person making a left turn with their car half in the turn lane in your lane
It also bugs me when I am doing 75 in the fast lane and someone changes lanes in front of me doing 65

LOL -yeah that is nuts. But you gotta try driving here!!!!

Here they sit waiting for the green, then stop in the intersection once they get the green, AND THEN turn on their turn signal!!! And since they started putting up a few signs saying No-U-Turns at notorious intersections, a lot of people here now think if there is no such sign, then they can do a u-turn wherever they like. Quite a few will also stop so far back from the intersection they don't trip the light sensors.

If you are on Facebook, check out the other crazy thing about driving here - https://www.facebook.com/RichmondLearnstoPark/

Yes..

Others drivers don’t bother me, so long as they stay in in their own car!

Sounds like you have the same mindset as me.

I drive precisely, correctly and (except for speed) legally.
I always signal, even for lane changes, and I get as far over as I can at a light to leave room for others.
Also, when I decide to turn or make a lane change, I freaking COMMIT to it. I am not deciding whether I am turning AFTER I am in the intersection.

Some days it seems NO ONE else does and it makes me more than a little perturbed.
I sometimes wish I was an unmarked cop - I would set records for tickets written! :police:

Anybody else notice the tendency for people on coming , drifting over into your lane?
or motorcycles right on the centre line if the road?

firemangeorge 09-30-2018 09:09 AM

Oldblue.
Way back in my younger days and riding motorcycles, we would always ride on the edge of the lane. Theory was that the center of the lane was the "slippery" spot. Vehicles that leak everything from oil to antifreeze, well that stuff usually falls in the center of the lane.
Haven't ridden in many years but that's how I recall it.

I was grumbling about this just yesterday...

I mean, I get it... Bikers have a tough time out there, but do they have to force me out of my lane with my right side tires on the berm? Is it just to prove something?

Cat Man HHR 09-30-2018 09:46 AM

Just thought of another one.
You see a person on a cross street as you approach them. They pull out right in front of you to get into the lane, maybe even making you brake. You look in the rear view mirror and there's no one behind you. They just couldn't wait 10 seconds more ?

How about when they split traffic in a stop and go situation. You want to over into another lane, check your mirrors and it's clear. Start to move over and a person comes right down the line.

That's just being stupid... and I don't think legal in all states.

Only in the wild, wild west... California only.

Don't get me started....

I agree with that about riding the inner edge of the lane. And still do it
