Fender Skirts

Back in the DAY Chevy produced a creature called a fender skirt for the rear and on some models of their cars the front also! I have been looking and staring at my HHR, and thinking, this is what mine needs!!!!!!!!!!! Any Ideas or sources?

I haven't ordered anything from these guys. Someone did and had bad service. One guy went down there and had no problems. I believe they are very disorganized, but I've not been there as yet myself.;)

Please don't add fender skirts to your HHR. For one, like CH said, you're not going to be able to open your back doors, and two, it just flat out would not look right. It's one thing to style your HHR and make it unique from everyone elses. It's another thing to go absolutely overboard and just kill the whole design of the car. Those fender skirts would be overboard. Just my :2cents:

Wow, the site for HHR parts...I think I puked in my mouth a little...:( the skirts were atrocious, the 1959 tail lights were too ugly to even look at and there were so many "Loser" images that I nearly missed the nice visor that they have. In my opinion skirts would not add anything to the design of the HHR

All based on your taste. I don't mind them at all. Personally, I like the half skirts - I just don't want to drill into my car!

WOW! Talk about reviving a dead thread!

HI CR LUKE, I've been gone a couple of days, just saw your post. I have skirts &
the process wasn't easy or perfect. But I like the look and felt it was worth it.
I just took them off for tire rotation and putting them back on wasn't easy either.
But for me, this car just cried out for them...I posted a how to guide with info on where I got them and the "process" of installing them. You may want to wait for a better model, supplier. If not, just PM me. I'll be glad to help any way I can:thumb:
Just saw the orig date...?? Is this one dead as GDZ said??? oooops.

Pretty much so. Being that's it's been inactive for 14 months, and the last time the thread originator visited the site was 13 months ago, I'd qualify it as dead. But that's what the search function is for, to extend the talk of subject/add opinion on same w/o everyone starting their own thread to do so.

My skirts are now on Bud's HHR, Harvey. They look much better now!
