Flying Brian Stevens passed away
I just found out that Brian Stevens, well known DIRT modified driver passed away Feb 18,2015.
I haven't been out to the track in a few years and my wife and I were driving by the maybe go catch the action for Victoria Day, and saw the sign announcing a 44 lap Memorial Race for Brian Stevens.
Wow, that was a kick in the groin! I was headed up to his place figuring either he would want to go out for pizza or out to the races. But to my shock it was for his memorial race.
RIP Flying Brian Stevens (that's him on the right and me on the left, back in July 1992)

Yeah. Bummer. I have been through the loss of many New England Modified drivers. Yes, we had Geoff Bodine who went on to shine, but he wasn't necessarily the only, nor the best that COULD have. Some of those "other" guys could have been at least as good - given the ride - as Geoff was. Old Blue, I feel your sadness.
