GEICO Rocks!
Before going to work this afternoon, I got a call from a GEICO adjuster.
As a bit of background: From the incident which took out Stitch I in February, we'd received word that GEICO and the Firebird lady's insurance (Allstate) were going to arbitration in order for GEICO to get back what they paid out to me to pay off Stitch I with GMAC. This was in September.
Today's phone call: The arbitrator awarded GEICO 100% of what they were asking.
What does it mean for me? It means I get my $500 deductible back. In cash.
I gotta say, I love that gecko.
