Getting rid of the HHR...

Well, I'm officially getting rid of it. After 2 years its time to move on. I may still lurk around afterwards but won't be posting as much. Moving up in the world to a 2008 VW Rabbit. It's been a blast guys! Thanks for everything!

But who will members turn to for headlight questions and other mods?

Are you leaving the HHR as is, or will you be parting out the mods?

Parting out is a definate. So keep an eye out. I will have the GMPP exhaust manifold, H.O. Intake Manifold, Gold Line Gen. 1 drop springs, and possibly trade out the headlights... I'll make a new thread in the classifieds when the parts are available. But if anyone wants to shoot me a PM by all means go ahead!

Actually from the HHR the VW is a move up. Much more is standard on those cars. Like the CD/mp3, Side curtain airbags, 4wheel disc, ABS all the safety stuff I wanted on my HHR is std trim on the Wabbits. But, to each his own!

As much as I like your headlights, I don't think I'll take those off your hands. They're painted DSM, and my HHR is black Probably wouldn't make a difference at night, but in the day it would be noticeable..

Man Jason, I'm sorry to hear you're selling the HHR and leaving the forum . Your participation is a valid asset to this forum.

But do keep in touch.

When it comes to your headlight set up, if you sold it to one of us what would be the install procedure? Would it be a simple plug and play kinda thing (splicing a wire or two) or would it be fairly complicated?

Enjoy the VW, you'll probably have a lot more fun tricking that thing out than the HHR.
