I think i'm going to replace the rear storage box with a bicycle basket, they can sit in there.
I just wouldn't want them to fall out. so i will have to figure out a way to snap their harness to the scooter, so they stay mostly still.

i was tempted by a scooter when my jimmy was failing me. they are very popular around town. I would probably get hit the first day riding it with the idiots around here though. Heck i almost get hit once a week just trying to cross the street with the walk sign lit up.
