To all the members and their families who are in the path of the latest weather challenge, HURRICANE FLORENCE, I wish you all the best of wishes. Stay safe, be smart and stay healthy (I know this is difficult, but keep a smile and have faith, you can overcome). Whatever you believe in, HE, SHE or IT will guide you and watch over you.

Last year, During Irma, even though Gregg isnt worth more than the garage door he was behind I still tucked him away for protection! We live up on a hill with decent elevation so Flooding is not an issue for us, Thee oak trees break the wind for us as well and keep us safe!

Yes. Be safe and evacuate if near the coast or flood prone areas.

What it looks like 34 miles off the cost of NC. Believe it or not, the Flying Pan is a B&B.....

I used to live at the beach but I now live in Raleigh. I understand how the people downeast must feel right now and my heart goes out to them. We used to ride out the storms we could but quite a few sent us running and wondering what we would come back to.
