Like Your GM Chicklets? GM Doesn't!!!

Seen various threads here from members regarding their GM chicklets. Some like them and some don't. Well starting with the 2010 models you don't have to worry about them anymore. GM has announced they will no longer place their GM Corporate badge on the remaining four brands. Seems they don't want people associating them with their recent bankruptcy: GM Drops its Corporate Badge From All 2010 and Future Models.

I wonder how much $ they would have saved if they had not bothered with it in the first place?

5 cents x how many million cars and trucks?

The real reason they are gone is they are marketing brands now and not so much GM. GM in many public poles has a tarnished rep due to the goverment bail out. GM is trying space between the corperate image and the brand image.

To be honest it was something that just did not click. most people could care less if the car was a GM or not. If anything to the non GM fan it was more a negitive. The GM fan would buy anyway.

Keep the chicklets... some day... in the future, they'll be worth something... at least double in price from what they are now!

Although they can be a pain washing/drying/waxing, I like mine on the car.

Holy cow!!

Just think... the "new" GM (gummint motors) just might put up the money to put a "Chevrolet" emblem on cars... well like the HHR before its demise!

I've never been ashamed of the GM logo.. so mine are still on the car.

I've read the article, and it looks like more GM executives mental masturbation... Will the cars be better without the chicklets???
