Exclamation Maybe you can fix stupid

According to Ron White, you can't fix stupid. After reading an online article at a firefighting website, I decided that you can. Mind you, although I was a career firefighter for 28 years, I have nothing against call or volunteer firefighters. I have a major problem with emergency workers drinking on the job, in the firehouses and firehalls.

You folks in Jersey ought to be behind abandoning this practice. You can bet if something bad happens, it'll be the taxpayers paying for it.

Good article, no drinking is better, for all.
I mean there is a time and a place, not at work, nor when you are on call.

Some practices in America just die too slowly. Who would think, in this day, that a fireman, volunteer or full time, would/could arrive at the scene, impaired?
Unbelievable...
There should be NO alcohol allowed on the premises, and if you`re a volunteer, you should resign yourself to a life without booze, period.
