Mind of Mencia
Sorry, but I think I missed the arguing part. I thought we had a pretty debate going. At least that's what adults call it.
I forgot all about Blue Collar Comedy. I guess I can relate to them because I am caucasian and live in the south. My father has a redneck only because he refused to use sunscreen. On a daily basis I travel past homes that look similar to Jeff Foxworthy's Yard of the Week.
Ok, I planning laughing at all of them no matter what nationality. One of my favorite skits ever was Sinbad talking about his childhood and having to get indoors before the streetlights came on. I wish he would do more stand-up. We all need to take our lives a little less seriously!

One of my favorite skits/scenes from a movie is from Cheech and Chong:
Cheech is in the living room of the run-down house he shares with Chong, struggling to come up with verses and lyrics for a song he calls "Mexican Americans." He continues by singing about the stereotypical things Mexicans do and say, especially the two-syllable nicknames we all give each other (Nana, Tito, Chapa, etc.) Then Chong retorts by saying he has a better version of Cheech's song. He quickly demonstrates by strumming a chord on his guitar and begins singing "Beaners......."
Short, to the point, and funny, I tellya. And I'll add that Cheech, in his various appearances in movies, sitcoms, etc., laid the groundwork as early as the 70's for the ability to make fun of Mexican stereotypes, then and now. This includes the skit he took part in on Mencia's show which was a send-up of "The Sopranos" entitled "The Serranos." More funny stuff, I tellya.....

I think that the main reason that this topic has gone so far is that Joe Rogan is not funny and most people don't even know that he thinks he's a comedian. He just wants some press to try and get people out to his shows. If Carlos steals someones joke it is their responsibility to do something about it.
Debate (North American English) or debating (British English) is a formal method of interactive and position representational argument. Debate is a broader form of argument than logical argument, since it includes persuasion which appeals to the emotional responses of an audience, and rules enabling people to discuss and decide on differences, within a framework defining how they will interact.
That said
with anything, it all boils down to being accountable to yourself. Its hard for people to understand that the same rules don't apply to everyone and that there are different standards.
Any racial slur will have a different consequence for different people. The way that a community of people may talk to each other is totally different than how someone on the outside of that community should do.
The problem is this feeling of entitlement and people feeling like they can say or do whatever they want under free speech. THat's true...you may not go to jail, but you might catch an $#%& whoopin'.
I'll never understand why people feel like they have to have every privilege in the world and why some things are just off limits
