Remember when fluffy hair was cool. I mean it was never my thing but you should have seen my buddy Shawn's hair. He looked like he had a swarm of black poodles humping his head when he walked. It's hard for those guys to look hard. No matter how big and cut you are, how many tats you have, or anything like that it's impossible to look hard with hair prettier than a girl. I'm not slamming long hair but just the big puffy perm look. When the glam guys combined it with makeup it was done in the metal scene.
