But I mean, she can't plate the vehicle at all. I don't know what she is actually missing, because my HHR is on loan, and I got mine plated just fine..

But she cannot plate it. There's something preventing it.. I don't know what though.. I can't say for certain because I don't know all the details. But I mean, what other things could prevent plating a car?

She should have filled out an "Application for Certificate of Title" Form. You still don't get the actual title until the loan is paid off.

But since the finance company will not release that for copying. Or for a copy of it to be obtained..

That should have come from the Dealership. The loan company would not have had title to it until the dealership signed it over to them.

the dealership had the truck, but not a copy of the title.. so that means she got a vehicle with no title, which means the dealership never had possession of it?
