Welp, she heard back from the investigator. He said that the dealer never had the legal right to sell it, as it was registered stikk in someone elses name. So technically its stolen. However because she was not aware of this in the beginning, she will not see charges. The investigator said it's unlikely that she gets to keep the truck, but there is a small chance ahe will. As for the money lost, it is more doubtful she'll see any of that. Time will tell.

SS fan. She was paying the guy because he was being "flexible"on her payments becuz at first she onky had one job and full time student.
SmootHHR, maybe, but if she gets the truck, she's gonna sell it and take all that$ and put it down on a more fuel savvy vehicle. She's toyed with the idea of an HHR.
