It was very fun, im making my own here...
They only cost like 30$ or so to make
You can shoot potato's 150+ yards for fun

the one at 2:55 was the best one.. it was so loud too
its amazing what some hair spray and a spark will do..

Pretty sweet, all that is simply hairspray and a spark? Impressive.

Oh yeah, lotsa different ways of making them...lol If you stand behind a wall downrange you would be amazed at the sound of a potatoe flying by! I made a few different ones including a pneumatic one back in high school. Easy way to get into trouble though, much much louder than a gun/rifle.

Just a little hint from when we used to make Spud Cannons back in the late 80's. Try some WD-40 for your propellant. It lubricates the barrell so you get cleaner shots. Only problem is that it fouls up the sparker a little quicker.

Haha that's awesome, me and my friend were firing off his potato gun a few days ago but we only had some Right Guard deodorant spray to use
