Stolen picture of my old SS

I was web surfing yesterday and came across this picture. It was on a website called Wheel Collision Center. They were using it to advertise HHR SS wheels for sale.
Not sure where they got the picture but apparently it is one that I took back in Nov. of 2019. And yes, that is my HHR SS wheel. 100% sure.
I only post pictures on ChevyHHR.net so that must be where they "borrowed" it from.
Anybody know if this is legal for them to use my picture like this ? Or legal to take the picture from ChevyHHR.net ?

I’m sure that unless you have it copy right protected, it’s fair game on the internet.

If you GoOgle "hhr SS wheels" you probably get a lot of chevyhhr.net results.
Once something is published without a copyright it is free to use. That is why it is a bad idea to use your email address on the internet.

Yes. I’ve done the SS wheel search and seen lots of pictures link back to ChevyHHR.net.
My point of posting this is because it’s not just some picture on the internet that anyone is free to look at. Now it’s a commercial business that is using my picture to make a profit. I just felt that was unethical.

Called that business. After a little prying, the tech guy finally admitted they pulled my picture off the Internet.
Also had to school him on HHR SS wheels. Their website lists 2 different factory finishes. I told him there was only 1 factory wheel for the SS 2008-2010.

He said they would take it down if I wanted it done. I said not to bother. I don’t own that car anymore so not really my call.

I've had MANY MANY pictures of mine from on the ls1tech forum (Camaro & Firebirds) used. If they help someone or a business that's OK with me.
