"Tall" Ships in Oceanside CA.
Took these last week at the Harbor... They are all detailed reproductions of the "tall ships" of old.. the dark one is an exact replica of Christopher Columbus' ship the NINA.. it was even built by hand (in 1991, not 1492)...
Just thought some of you might enjoy... https://www.chevyhhr.net/gallery/fil...8/100_2979.jpg https://www.chevyhhr.net/gallery/fil...8/100_2982.jpg https://www.chevyhhr.net/gallery/fil...8/100_2987.jpg https://www.chevyhhr.net/gallery/fil...8/100_2986.jpg https://www.chevyhhr.net/gallery/fil...8/100_2988.jpg |
I have some pics of her too. (somewhere) Taken from my boat several years back when she was in Lake Erie. From what I recall she has a 40HP Detroit Deisel. (Or was it 500HP???)

I couldn't find my Nina Pictures, but I did find some of the Bounty. This was the one made for the Mel Gibson version.
