My niece has a 2010 Journey, 2.4 automatic, I’ve replaced her brakes twice, ball joints, air filter and spark plugs, the alternator and pulleys with serpentine belt and tensioner, once.
It has about 160,000 miles on it now , she is looking I get a new ride after this COVID stuff is over, but she loves her Journey.
She had a 2007 Caliber before this, no major repairs except LCA’s

A shot of the new truck... Look closely, you can see how clean the calipers are.

Yeah, I'm toying with that idea. I'm to the point where I don't want to do any more than I have to so it will depend how I feel in a few months. I have lots of work to do on my house this year.

One "must have" is running boards. I have nerf bars on order. Should receive them on Wednesday. It's supposed to be a Midnight Edition, and the RPO codes show that it is. But all the trim, the black painted wheels, black running boards, and blacked out bow ties are not there. I suspect the previous owner sold or swapped that stuff with a friend or relative.

The Silverado Z71 1500 Midnight Edition features bold black accents that command attention to take on the night, including:
  • Black 18-inch wheels
  • Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac off-road tires
  • Black Chevy bowtie emblems
  • Black door handles and mirror caps
  • Bigger, bolder Z71 badging
  • Black and front skid plate
  • Rear Park Assist
  • Available on select Crew Cab and Double Cab models

The tires maybe have been replaced, the wheels have definitely been swapped out, maybe the used car dealer swapped them , the bow ties , possibly had a delamination problem and where replaced or the black vinyl came off.
It’s a very nice truck , it should have a tonneau cover with also, that might have been sold or graded off when the cap was installed.

Doc- That is very sharp & agree the calipers look New. Neighbor has a F-250 Ford Midnite edition, & frankly I'm kinda over the "murdered out look".
I like to see the contrast in colors.. Very sharp truck & that LTZ package gotta be sweet.

Blue- The one I saw up at my Dealership had those aggressive style tires & blacked out factory rims.

Frankly the wheels are what attracted me to it. If it had the black wheels and running boards, I'm not sure I would have looked at it. I do really like the blacked out front end. And the LTZ package is unbelievable. So many little features and most of them are actually useful.

My stainless steel polished nerf bars should be here Wednesday. If the weather holds out I may be able to put them on Sat. My wife is short and really needs a step to get in. Nearly 8 inches of snow here today...

Those bars will match up nicely with the aluminium wheels!

Very Cool..

My stainless steel polished nerf bars should be here Wednesday. Sweet, that will really work well with the wheels, like Blue stated. If the weather holds out I may be able to put them on Sat. Hopefully so. My wife is short and really needs a step to get in. That will be a Big help. Nearly 8 inches of snow here today.. You can have it, we hit 69*, not the 70* that was expected. I'm not complaining tho.

I'm thinking you got the best of both worlds, a Mid-nite Edition Z71...LTZ, and it's already one of a kind, + the mudflaps. Enjoy the New hot rod.
