Be very aware!!!

I was sent a notice from my father who does IT work. Goggle has a virtual revearse phone book feature. If you type in a person's number, it will give and address and you can view the location from Goggle as well.

I tried 2 phone numbers to check the validity of the email. My parents address came up and also the Map was accurate.

Now for the good news. I tried to input my cell number. No address was listed and you could not view my house on the map program.

I've used reverse phone searches before. Try http://www.anywho.com/rl.html. This one doesn't give addresses though.

When you type in your number, and results are generated, you can opt out on the google site.

Google has had that for several years. At one time they allowed you to op out. I did. Don't know if they still allow it.

Many bad debt chasers use it as well as several other on line sources....one is mentioned above another is Zabasearch.com.

When zaba first came on line, it would provide all the info on a person...address, phone number(s), birth date, residence history, mapquest locator and a satellite image of the residence. But the most amazing thing...it included a Social Security number. It's limited downward now, but still useful if you know how to "massage".

I haven't tried that google trick for quite a while. As far as I know, it only 'worked' with phone numbers listed in the phone book, not unlisted .
