Where to eat in Downtown Philly

I have to go to Philly Sunday - Wednesday, will be staying right across from City Hall. Would love to have one of those fabled Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches. Can anyone recommend a place to go?

My wonderful employer forgot to look at a calendar and scheduled our disaster recovery exercise over Easter weekend. At least I'll get to spend Saturday with the family.

If you don't mind going about 1.5 miles, you could try Pat's or Geno's at 9th and Passyunk . Right across the street from each other. Both are rivals for the best in Philly. Best if you have a car (or you could try walking it off ... ) . South on Broad to Wharton, East on Wharton to Passyunk, Left on Passyunk for about a block.

Thank you very much.

Probably should walk it off, but I've been in the South too long, it's cold up there.
