Your Cylinder Count
 

So we did this at work a couple of years ago. Add up the number of cylinders you have for all internal combustion engines (or steam engines), including any family members that live in the same household. Cars, Motorcycles, landscape equipment, water pumps, R/C models, generators, etc. Must actually run! OK to edit your first post when you realize you forgot something. Must be at home (not business). No bragging rights, just for fun. I came up with 41 at 3rd count. :roll:

Initial count......14. May find another 1 or 2 somewhere in the garage.

this may take a while........around 57...

if i did it right.. 31 ?

56 I think.

13 for me

34 is my count after three tries. and all work/run

23. Could be 24 if I ever decide to fix my rider mower.

20 for me

2 v8's/ '95 t-bird & '00 mustang gt
1 4cylinder/'08 hhr ss

15 for me, including my air compressor, which is not exactly a combustion engine since there is no spark, but it's the same otherwise.

Wow, I see what you mean about forgetting things. :nuts:
After I added up the usual stuff, cars, trucks, tractors, lawn mowers, weed wackers, leaf blowers, motorcycles, mopeds, I starting thinking about the unusual things. generators, Nitro RC engines, compressors (including the little cheap 12 volt ones), model steam engines.... I know I will have to edit and add more that I forgot about, but so far I have 77 :eek: I REALLY need to clean out my garage! I don't throw anything out :red:

EDIT: OK, I reread your original post and see that you said "internal combustion engines", and steam engines, so I have to subract 8 for the compressors, but forgot a 4 wheeler and a moped +2 so new total is 71

Well, maybe 8 with my gas furnace..... :lol:

Everything is electric.

I love these questions...I did the same thing with valves...since I had 2 Lincoln Mark VIII's, both with 32-valve V8's.
