'10 2.2L plug change

I'm going to change the plugs in my HHR today and wondering if the wire sets should be changed as well?

Your over 100K already?

If a 2.2 is like a 2.4 they're coil on plug, there's really no spark plug wire to change.

Yeah, 118k. Bought the vehicle used, but got a great deal on it. I don't know when or if the plugs had been changed so I'm just gonna go ahead and do it anyway since they are cheap maint.

Plugs are a simple change and not that expensive. I chnged mine around 60K miles just because the last car that had 100K plugs, those plugs were bad by 60 K.

Got them changed over to Autolite XP Iridiums. Couldn't quite tell if the plugs I pulled were the originals or not, but I couldn't see any signs of the coils being 'touched' recently.
*edit* The plugs I pulled were AC Delco.

I just chnged out Bosch twin tiped platinum plugs they only lsted 30,000 miles, I went back to AC Delcos they lasted 60,000 miles

I probably should have done more homework on this. AFTER swapping in the Autolite's I came here and saw that the Eco's seem to 'prefer' AC Delcos. :duh:

I bought my 2006 2lt at 32,000 miles a 3 year lease turn in looked new, changed plugs went with the E3 plugs drove it about 5,000 miles had it scaned had over 20,000 misfires chaned to AC Delco Irid. now mave a little over 58,000 miles the engine likes the Ac Delco plugs.

My original ACDelcos still looked pretty good at 90,000. I replaced with ACDelcos, no noticable run difference, but I've noticed it does start better. (It had been taking two tries to start sometimes).
