20W 50W oil in HHr

Have just removed all of the oil from my 2.4 HHR and find I have 10 quarts of 20W-50W synthetic oil. It says to use 5W-30 on the oil cap of the HHR. Anyone have any thoughts as to my using the 20w-50 in the HHR?

Good idea to exchange. Especially not good to use in the winter with the temperatures experienced in NY.

Made the exchange - am using the $6.99 a quart Valvoline synthetic w/Fram's best filter. Studded snows are on and we are ready for ol' man Winter here in the snowbelt. Let it fly!!
