ahhhh a search for "oil weight" resulted in several hits - and third one in the list has full details on oil specs and the filter and how to change it etc. Can't be much easier than that.

JUST AN OBSERVATION.......

Based on responses on the last several NEW oil threads......I do believe members are getting a little tired of basic oil questions.

And of people unable to pull out their owners manual, and read it - or unwilling to use the search function provided in the forum - or don't go back to the threads they previously opened, and read the responses. Ya wanna help, but it's like pulling teeth sometimes - like the 'don't talk to me about codes' guy. Oh well, we win some, we lose some.

I love your answers, that's the reason I even read these oil threads. So...are you going to change your oil again now that someone mentioned it?

Them's the rules, so I gotta do it. But I am confused over it - I just weighed a can of 5-30 weight, and a can of 10-30 weight, and they weighed the same. What's up with that?
