Yeah, but rebuilding or replacing the transmission is a lot more costly than having the change the oil every once in a while. I'm not expecting it to die on me soon, but I'm thinking in the long run, when the car is 10 years old or so.

You're right ChevyMgr. Our Atlas-Copcos were all presets and I really couldn't remember exactly the "threaded bolt" torque specs

(A tip...start them 2 turns by hand before torquing then up and stagger the tightning pattern when you use a new gasket.)

I had mine flushed at the Chevy dealer a week and a half ago, along with an air filter change (they did it for just the price of the filter, no labor), tire rotation, and oil change since the car was just over 50k miles. Unfortunately now the car is in the shop for something else....

If you just hit 100k, the dealer might work with you on getting it looked at under warranty...
