Bosch 6716 Platinum Plugs

Did a quick search and could not find any mention of them.
Picked up 4 from the auto suppy place in the spring and figured its about time to put them in.
Anyone tried them or have any experience with this one.
Thanks in advance.

Before you wind them in, just a thought. The Ecotec engines were designed around AC Delco Iridium spark plugs, they work the best in almost all cases(some of the "Monster Horsepower" guys use other types with some success), why mess with a proven thing.

I agree with 843de. I swapped out AC Delcos at 60K miles with new AC Delcos. The ones removed still looked "new" I just changed them because the last 100K plugs were shot by 60K. Cheap maintenance item.

X2. Others have told of having issues when they tried a different brand/type of plug.
Ecotecs are just finicky. Best to stick with what works. Use the AC Delcos.

I just swapped out the original AC's in mine for Autolite XP iridiums. So far, it's running fine, but I'm prepared to pull em and swap back in new AC's with a lesson learned.

About the last 10 years or so, using anything other than the OEM plugs can be iffy on GM engines. Best to stick with OEM.
