coolant reservoir

It's very simple, with the engine completely cool remove the mounting bolt(#13 on the diagram), then pull the reservoir up and loosen the lower clamp on the coolant recovery hose(#8 on the diagram), and you got it out.
Installation is the reverse of removal as the manuals like to say. Don't forget a drain pan to collect the coolant that will be spilled. And just for reference, why are you changing it out, and was your coolant changed at the five year interval recommended by GM?
P.S. to the forum!

May I suggest to remove the small hose and clamp at the top before you remove the reservoir. Keeping the open end of the hose "up" so the coolant doesn't spill. Once you pull the reservoir out, empty it, then take the hose loose from the bottom and swap to the new one.
(from my own experience ) I bet you understand Mike.
