Show manual on DVD

I'm thinking of buying a shop manual on DVD for my 06 HHR. I noticed quite a few on ebay with all differant prices. Has anyone bought one and from who. are they worth it and are they complete? Thanks

I bought an HHR Service Manual on CD (or DVD - same difference really in this case) on eBay a year or so ago. I do not remember from who, or the price I paid. The disk offers no clues at all: all it says on the label is "Chevy HHR 2006-2008 Service Manual".

What I can tell you is that the disk I bought is a verbatim copy of a real Chevrolet HHR service manual. It is in .pdf format, all vehicle systems are arranged in separate chapters, and there are extensive schematics and drawings, specific diagnostic procedures (most of which you cannot accomplish without proprietary GM software), dis-assembly and re-assembly procedures, lists of tools needed for particular jobs, and the like. It is fairly extensive and well worth the price if you have use for the knowledge you acquire.

I'm sorry I can't give you a clue as to the origin of my disk - I will take a look on eBay and see if I can recognize the source from my feedback list.

I am pretty sure I bought the disk from eBay seller "fyea" for $10.00.
The reason I think so is because the picture of the HHR in the eBay auction ad is the same as the one on the actual disk label. And, the title of the eBay auction is 2006-2008 HHR Service Manual.
There are a few more expensive offerings on eBay for the HHR service manual, and of course they claim that the cheaper ones are rip-offs, but I would go with the one I mention. The most you can lose is 10 bucks.

With all the burned CDs/DVDs of the manual that are available from eBay and the like, I'm surprised that the PDF files aren't simply available for download somewhere.
