To get or not to get......
That is the question I have.
In regards to Road Hazard coverage on Tires. I know that's how tire places make their money and all. How many of you actually get the Road Hazard Coverage on your tires when you get them new? |
Nope. Never had a tire issue in the last 25 years. But all my vehicles have been on Michelin tires.
(Ok. One slow leak about 10 years ago from a nail. I plugged it myself.) For those that use their cars for business, it might be a good thing to have. |
I do..not sure if every place is the same, but the place I get tires has a hazard fee of $6 per tire and they cover free repairs for flats and if they cant fix it then they give you a brand new tire. I think the $30 fee is peace of mind instead of paying 100 for a tire if needed

I'll throw in with the "Yes" crowd Kev, you use Stiggz in the performance of your duties, and sometimes Michigan roads are umm...less than nicely maintained.
You may never need it, or you'll have a flat two days after you put the tires on, it's called life. |
I vote no! I cut that tire down last April on the way to Florida, 1st flat issue in 45 years of driving odds are I'm good now for another 30 or so years!

I voted "No" , With 10 vehicles, most don't get driven much and I keep good tires on them. Six of them have collector insurance with road service ...john

There's no "sometimes" option. ;)
I've gotten it sometimes. When I did I used it enough to justify the cost. |
In for a yes, have used 2 times now and has more than paid for the multiple sets of tires I have purchased.
I only buy from Discount Tire, so it could be different at other Tire stores. |
