Heater for 2008 HHR
 

Hi,

I have a 2008 HHR and I'm having issues with the heat. I took it to the mechanics, spent $500 and problem still exist.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what the issue might be? Has anyone else had a similar problem and what did you do to resolve it? Thanks for your help in advance.

Motor

If you mean no heat from the HVAC system, it could be the water pump impeller has failed, or the balance shaft chain, the thermostat could be stuck open, but that would cause a code. It could be air in the system needs to be burped.

Then if you aren’t getting any air flow from the blower motor, it could be the cabin air filter is old and needs replacing, the HVAC control module may have problems, the fan motor needs replaced.
Do you have a list on the work order of what they did for $500.00 of your hard earned money?

To answer your question: it is broken.
If the mechanic said he fixed take it back and get what you paid for.

What issues are having with the heat? No air movement, or cool air when set to heat, or??

Kinda like a mystery question, What is it doing / not doing exactly?
Does the AC work?
Does it blow air or change from floor/dash/defrost ?
What did this mechanic do for $500 and did he use lube?
