HHR float charge
Good day.
I have been coming to this site whenever I have questions on my 2006 lt, and have always had luck finding an answer. But today I have to break down and make post.
When the time comes to replace the battery, I would like to upgrade to an AGM one. Now the question I have is what is the HHR's float voltage or charge? AGM batteries take a lower float voltage than standard flooded batteries. Exceeding the limit can prematurely kill the battery.
So I need to know the float charge of the HHR. Specificly if it's 13.2 to 13.8 volts with 1 amp maximum, which is the limit for the Optima red and yellow top.
