LED taillight bulbs

I did a search for these and didnt see anything but I could have missed it. I apologize in advance if I did. Has anyone installed the funky looking led taillight bulbs that are available now and if so how did they perform? Thanks!

No these are actual led bulbs that fit into the stock taillights.

Spider lights? For some reason you have to open up the hole a touch because the bulb body is a shade bigger then 1 inch

Not much brighter and lasted only 1 1/2 years, I’m back to incandescent

Maybe the light is in inches and the hole is in cm. And they are assuming exactly 2.54cm = 1 inch

If your going to install just an LED bulb for turning/braking, it needs a resistor, otherwise you get "hyper flash". When using a LED bulb, match the color of the bulb to the lens.

The Spider lights had a built in resistor, I didn’t have any hyperflash
The newer led bulbs are Canbus compatibile

Thanks for the warning on the 'spider' LED lights. I was thinking about a pair of those..
